BASF has introduced a new yellow light solution for photolithography used in semiconductor, PCB, and solar cell production. The technology uses an absorption-conversion mechanism to block wavelengths below 530nm, converting them into useful light rather than wasting them as heat. This system reduces energy consumption by 25% compared to traditional fluorescent lamps and filter-based LEDs. It integrates with existing lighting fixtures and thermal management systems to lower electricity costs and cooling requirements in industrial cleanrooms.
