Base Carbon has completed its first sales of CORSIA-eligible carbon credits from a cookstoves project in Rwanda, generating approximately $0.7 million. The company currently holds 1.1 million credits in its inventory and is monitoring project development in India with first issuances expected in 2027. In Vietnam, a new government decree establishes a framework for international carbon credit transfers under Article 6.2 of the Paris Agreement. This regulatory shift may open pathways for up to 23.5 million credits to enter compliance markets, including Singapore's carbon tax regime.
