Bangchak Group has opened Thailand's first commercial sustainable aviation fuel plant at the Phra Khanong Refinery. Using HEFA-SPK technology and renewable feedstocks like used cooking oil, the facility supports a government mandate for a 1% SAF blend in jet fuel starting in January 2026. Major carriers including Thai Airways, Singapore Airlines, and Emirates will utilize the fuel for international routes.
