Avaada Group plans to invest around ₹40,000 crore in green ammonia and methanol production, with plants in Gopalpur, Odisha, and Nagpur, Maharashtra. The green ammonia project in Gopalpur has received EU RFNBO certification for 85% of its fuel, a requirement for exports to Europe. The company says it is moving closer to binding offtake agreements with European buyers and expects to sign them next year. Both projects are part of a broader ₹1 trillion investment plan over the next three to four years. Avaada also aims to build 30 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030, and is developing an integrated solar manufacturing facility in Nagpur. The group is planning a ₹7,600 crore IPO for its solar module arm, Avaada Electro, later this year.
