Swiss company ASCO Carbon Dioxide is expanding distribution of its CO2 recovery technology in the US from its Florida hub. The move adds stack gas recovery plants, by-product recovery units, and dry ice recovery systems to its existing North American portfolio. These systems capture CO2 from industrial processes like fermentation and ammonia production, then purify and reuse it instead of venting it. The company's dry ice recovery system claims a 90 to 95 percent CO2 conversion rate. ASCO says the expansion responds to growing demand for CO2 management and reuse in North American industry. The Orange Park facility in Jacksonville will serve as the main distribution point. This is a practical example of carbon capture and utilization scaling through existing industrial gas supply chains. The technology turns waste CO2 into a usable product, which matters for both emissions reduction and supply reliability in sectors that depend on CO2.
