Aristocrat Technologies powers Southern Nevada operations with 100% renewable energy via NV Energy program
cdcgaming.comAristocrat Technologies has switched its Southern Nevada operations to 100% renewable energy by joining NV Energy's GreenEnergy Rider program. The slot manufacturer secured 4,954 megawatt-hours of renewable energy for its Summerlin headquarters and Las Vegas Integration Center. This covers the company's full electricity use at those sites through a mix of the program and additional renewable credits. Aristocrat is one of four companies in the state participating in 2026 and the only one based in Southern Nevada. The move comes as rising demand from AI and data centers strains clean energy supply in Nevada. By paying a Renewable Resource Rate to NV Energy, Aristocrat avoids needing to buy power independently or leave the utility. NV Energy handles procurement and retires the renewable energy credits, so the environmental benefits are verified and assigned to Aristocrat. The company already has similar renewable contracts for its Sydney and Australian Integration Center locations, making this part of a broader global push toward its carbon reduction goals.
