The 8th Asia-Pacific BioCar International Conference (APBC 2026) will be held in Seoul from October 13 to 15, 2026. Organizers say researchers from 25 countries will deliver 197 presentations, including 15 keynote and invited lectures. The event is co-hosted by the International ESG Association and Korea University's Global BioCar and Climate Solution Center. Sessions will cover measuring and verifying carbon removal and storage with biochar, reducing greenhouse gases in agricultural soils, lifecycle assessment, and voluntary carbon markets. Other topics include PFAS and microplastic pollution, groundwater restoration, and biochar-based construction materials. The final day adds a forum on plastic sustainability and biodegradable electronics. The conference is open to researchers, corporate ESG and carbon strategy teams, and government officials. More details are available on the official APBC 2026 website.
