Anya Resort Tagaytay switches to geothermal power via First Gen supply deal
powerphilippines.comAnya Resort Tagaytay has started sourcing electricity from geothermal power under a supply agreement with First Gen. The resort, owned by Roxaco Land, switched in late September 2026 and will draw power from First Gen's Unified Leyte geothermal facilities. Management says the move supports lower carbon intensity in its electricity use while helping manage energy costs across its 7.2-hectare leisure estate. First Gen's renewable portfolio includes 31 facilities totaling about 1,700 MW across geothermal, hydro, solar, and wind. The company is also providing energy efficiency and behind-the-meter services as part of the arrangement. The deal is an example of a commercial establishment using a corporate renewable supply agreement instead of building its own generation.
