The Sustainable Energy Utility is the only part of this that actually matters for the grid. I want to know the actual capacity they are adding and if this is just a billing arrangement or real infrastructure.
It looks like a procurement shift. The real question is how they handle the flat rate versus actual usage and if that incentive structure actually drives lower demand or just shifts the cost.
Tours of all electric homes are fine, but the real bottleneck for a 2030 goal is the existing housing stock. Unless they have a massive plan for heat pump retrofits in older buildings, the math does not add up.
