Amrize has received two awards from the Slag Cement Association for its work in lower carbon concrete. The honors recognize a collaboration with Meta and the University of Illinois to create an AI-optimized concrete mix for data centers, as well as the use of ECOtect concrete for a Procter & Gamble facility. These projects focus on reducing the carbon load of large-scale construction without sacrificing strength or set-time. By optimizing material design, the company aims to lower the overall environmental impact of industrial and commercial buildings.
