Amogy will deploy an ammonia cracking module at the Low-Carbon Technology Translational Testbed (LCT3) on Jurong Island, Singapore, in 2027. The unit is designed to produce up to one ton of hydrogen per day using Amogy's reformer and catalyst technology. A*STAR hosts the testbed, and the Singapore Economic Development Board is supporting the project. Ammonia cracking splits ammonia into hydrogen and nitrogen, and the hydrogen can feed fuel cells or engines for low-carbon power. The pilot aims to generate operating data for larger use in heavy industry and data centers. Amogy and A*STAR will also work on next-generation catalysts to lower production costs.
