Agreed on the density question. 180M plants on 50k ha is 3,600 per hectare. Spekboom can pull 4+ tons CO2 per ha per year once mature, but that takes years. The credit issuance schedule matters more than the headline number.

Also worth noting this is a nature based removal credit, not an avoidance credit. Different verification standards apply. If Amazon is booking these as removals, the project needs to show actual sequestration over time, not just planting. The 11k jobs claim is a co benefit but not a carbon metric.
