The project adds a new open mold foundry casting line and melting furnaces, allowing the facility to incorporate post-consumer recycled aluminium into its production process for the first time. This expansion increases production capacity by up to 75,000 metric tons to meet growing demand for low-carbon materials in the automotive and packaging sectors. The upgrades are expected to be completed and ramped up through 2028.
