Air quality around Long Thanh airport improves in 2026 as construction dust drops, Dong Nai monitoring shows
dtinews.dantri.com.vnAir quality around Long Thanh International Airport improved in 2026 as construction activity wound down, according to Dong Nai's Department of Agriculture and Environment. In the first monitoring round, two locations exceeded permitted dust limits with an average TSP reading of 135.6 µg/Nm3. The second and third rounds stayed within limits, averaging 69.5 µg/Nm3 and 43.6 µg/Nm3. Broader monitoring across Dong Nai found sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, and ammonia within limits. Dust, PM10, and noise still exceeded standards at some industrial parks and traffic sites. The department is calling for tighter traffic controls, more road cleaning, and closer monitoring of dust and emission sources.
