Air Products has signed a three-year agreement to provide low-carbon liquid hydrogen to ArianeGroup for ground testing of Ariane 6 rocket engines. The fuel will be processed at a liquefaction facility in the Port of Rotterdam to support European Space Agency missions. To reduce emissions, Air Products is adding carbon capture technology to its Rotterdam plant, aiming to cut CO2 emissions by approximately 50%. The captured carbon will be stored permanently under the North Sea via the Porthos network.
