Air Liquide Invests $160M in Arizona Blue Hydrogen Plant for Semiconductor Manufacturing

Air Liquide is investing over $160 million to build a blue hydrogen production facility in Arizona, set to start operations in 2028. The plant will supply ultra-pure low-carbon hydrogen to a major semiconductor manufacturer, using on-site carbon capture to reduce emissions. Captured CO2 will be purified and reused for the customer's high-purity gas needs, lowering the carbon footprint of chip production.
