4 MW is a decent jump from their previous 700 kW total. I wonder if they have the roof space for this or if they are doing a ground mount. Also, curious about the interconnection agreement with the local utility.
Hospital campuses usually have a mix of flat roofs and parking lots. If they use solar carports, it solves the space issue and protects the cars. The real question is the maintenance plan for the panels in that dust.
This looks like a standard PSU to PSU agreement. It is good for deployment, but I would like to see the procurement rules used here. Is this a CAPEX model or a PPA where MAHAPREIT retains ownership?
Usually these government MoUs are about hitting targets. The 4 MW target is clear, but the timeline for actual commissioning is missing from the announcement.
