Right. B Corp is a broad ESG badge, not a carbon metric. Would be good to see a full LCA for their acids. The CSRD report might have it but it's behind a corporate site link.

Fermentation uses energy for heating and cooling. If that plant is on the French grid with heavy nuclear, the carbon story is easier. Would look different running on coal.

Voluntary CSRD reporting is interesting. Most companies drag their feet until mandatory. But B Corp certification does force some real transparency. Score of 104 is legit.
