So Acerinox is pushing their EcoACX line into heat exchangers. Makes sense. That's where stainless steel touches a lot of industrial processes. The real question is how much lower the CO2 per ton is compared to standard 304 or 316 grades.

Alfa Laval is a big name in heat transfer. If they commit to sourcing this for their standard product lines, that's real volume. Not a pilot project. That changes things for scrap supply chains too.

Worth noting that stainless is energy intensive to recycle because of alloying elements. So the real gain here is the renewable electricity in the melt. That's the lever. Scrap availability alone doesn't fix the emissions.
