320 million yuan Anhui carbon fiber plant topped out, 1 million products per year

Anhui Yitan Technology has topped out the main structure of its new carbon fiber facility in Hefei's High tech Zone. The project cost about 320 million yuan and will produce 1 million high tech carbon fiber products annually once it is fully operational. The plant focuses on carbon fiber fabrics and prepregs for use in civil aircraft, automotive lightweighting, wind power, medical equipment, construction, and sports gear. Completion and acceptance inspections are scheduled for the end of August 2026. The facility covers about 22 mu and roughly 31,700 square meters of floor space. Construction started in October 2025 and the main structure was completed in under seven months. The plant is expected to generate over 300 million yuan in annual revenue. It is positioned as a key link in the carbon fiber composite supply chain, aiming to fill gaps in the region's new materials industry and help cluster upstream and downstream companies.
