2026 Beijing Green Development Forum: Low-Carbon Projects and Green Lifestyle Events

The 2026 Beijing Green Development Forum is scheduled for September 17-18 at the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center. Under the theme 'Green Empowerment, Low-Carbon Symbiosis', the event includes an opening ceremony, seven parallel forums, an international green industry expo, and a City Low-Carbon Life Festival. Organizers expect over 100 speakers and matchmaking for more than 50 green projects, aiming to connect developers with investors and policy support. The forum also features a Green Lifestyle Market running from September 17 to 27, with eco-friendly crafts, organic produce, and low-carbon home goods. This public event is designed to promote sustainable consumption habits alongside the business-focused sessions. The forum is part of Beijing's broader push to integrate green development into urban planning and daily life, with related initiatives like the MaaS green travel program already earning international recognition.
