2 Sisters Food Group is updating its poultry feed to reduce reliance on imported soybean meal, replacing 23% of it with British-grown beans and oilseed rape. This shift is part of a broader strategy to hit net zero by 2035 and is expected to cut Scope 3 emissions by over 20%. The company is also expanding its deforestation-free commitments in South America, paying premiums to farmers who avoid all land conversion. By 2027, one of its major Scottish facilities will move to a completely soybean-free diet for its chickens.
