2 Sisters Food Group is investing £50 million to reduce the carbon footprint of its poultry feed by approximately 70%. The strategy focuses on replacing imported soy with British-grown oilseed rape, beans, and peas to lower Scope 3 emissions and reduce reliance on land-conversion-linked imports. As part of its goal to reach net zero by 2035, the company is implementing stricter sourcing standards in South America and transitioning its Coupar Angus site in Scotland to a completely soy-free feed by 2027.
